Craters of the Moon

On the North Island of New Zealand near the town of Taupo is a geothermal park called the Craters of the moon. There is a timber boardwalk that takes you on a journey through the park with geothermal action going on all around you. I noticed the remnants of this tree that had been consumed by the heat and harsh conditions. The steam surrounding it gave the whole scene and interesting feel which I was able to capture.
