Enveloped in Green

Ferns, Huka Falls. Photo by Me.

The Huka Falls in the North island of New Zealand is a spectacular place to visit. The Waikato river narrows from 100m wide to 15 metres. This can force over 220000 litres of water per second through the narrows. On the walk to the lookout you are surrounded, or enveloped in a sea of green from the ferns growing along the trail. I highly recommend a visit to Huka Falls.
